How to Get Rich

Many of my clients are very successful people. Some of them would be considered rich or wealthy.

But here’s the thing: Most people think that when you’re rich and have all the money you need, life is easy.

The truth is, life becomes really complicated.

Money is often a multiplier: If you’re not happy, you’re even more unhappy when you’re a millionaire.

I worked with a client who is probably one of the highest-paid people in her field. She’s made it her life’s work to create what she has created. On the outside, she is considered extremely successful, but she was terrified of losing what she has.

Many of us are on the path to success. We hope Success comes with Money and Status and sometimes Power, but most of all, HAPPINESS.

How many have followed this path and found NO happiness?

WHY?

Because there is a difference between BEING RICH and HAVING MONEY.

We are so focused on BECOMING RICH that we forget to consider what it means to BE RICH.

Ask yourself 2 questions:

What does a rich or wealthy life look like for me?

- More Freedom?

- More Time?

- More Fun?

Then ask yourself:

If I had more zeroes in my bank account and LESS fun, LESS time, or LESS freedom, would it be worth it?

There’s no right or wrong answer here. It’s a CONSCIOUS CHOICE that is often not considered in our pursuit of earning more.

If we don’t have our own clear vision of a ‘rich life,’ we may be heading for UNHAPPINESS despite the money in the bank, the condo in New York, and the house in the South of France.

What are your measures of future wealth?
